Jim Kuykendall

Jim Kuykendall is a Managing Director at IBG Fox & Fin in Phoenix, AZ. With over 20 years of experience as a corporate attorney, sales executive, and business owner, Jim brings a uniquely well-rounded perspective to the mergers and acquisitions process.  

He has led and supported transactions across five continents, with deal values ranging from $1 million to over $1 billion. Known for his global business insight and strategic acumen, Jim helps business owners navigate complex transactions with clarity and confidence.

Experience

Jim served as General Counsel – Asia Pacific for a global industrial minerals company, working on the ground in 11 countries and leading legal strategy for the region. He later held the role of Vice President and General Counsel – North America. Transitioning into operations, Jim managed a $200 million budget as Sales Director, overseeing major accounts with Fortune 500 customers. In Arizona, Jim owned and operated a successful business in the underground utility sector, giving him firsthand experience with the challenges and rewards of business ownership. His legal and business leadership roles have made him a trusted advisor in both domestic and international M&A.
