IBG Business has announced the addition of Texas M&A professional Bob Latham as a managing partner and principal.

Bob is a Certified Business Intermediary (CBI), a Merger & Acquisition Master Intermediary (M&AMI), and a Texas-licensed real estate broker. He is a member of the International Business Broker Association, the M&A Source, and the Texas Association of Realtors.

“Our expansion to Texas and our relationship with Bob Latham greatly enhance IBG’s capacity for creating M&A opportunities for buyers and sellers throughout the Southwest,” said Jim Afinowich, managing partner of IBG Fox & Fin in Scottsdale. “We have long appreciated Bob’s creative problem solving, attention to detail, and follow-through – invaluable qualities in helping business owners achieve their purchase and sale objectives.”

Bob holds a bachelor’s degree in civil engineering from Texas A&M University and an MBA from the Columbia University Graduate School of Business.

An instrument-rated licensed pilot, he volunteers his time and aviation skill at Angel Flight South Central, a charitable organization dedicated to transporting patients in financial need that require critical medical treatment in distant cities.

With Bob’s addition to the partner group, San Antonio becomes IBG Business’s eighth office, joining Denver, Greensboro, Phoenix, Tulsa, Williamsport (PA), Albuquerque, and Las Vegas.

In addition, IBG maintains an effective working relationship with Eaton Square, a London-based international M&A and capital service firm with 26 offices in 11 countries.

IBG’s dynamic nationwide presence and global network offer key advantages in the marketing and sale of mid-market companies. With more than 1,100 successful closings, at an 86% closing rate - three times the industry average - IBG is a widely respected leader in the international M&A industry.
